Get Involved
Where our hearts of service become a harvest of hope.
Volunteering with Kgang means planting seeds of hope through small, intentional acts of service that grow into meaningful impact.
Active Charity Drives
Baking & Becoming is a Kgang initiative for women with a heart for baking, seeking to turn it into a way of earning.
This is a space to begin.
All that is needed is placed in their hands — and from there, something takes shape. Through cinnamon rolls and donuts, each woman is invited to create, to explore, and to make something that feels like her own.
Alongside this, they are gently equipped — with guidance, with simple tools, and with ways to begin selling what they create, so that what starts here can continue beyond it.
It is not only about what is made, but what begins to unfold through it — confidence, expression, and the quiet realisation that something small can become something more.
For one, there is a step further. A baking kit to begin earning, and the opportunity to continue with Kgang beyond this moment.
But this does not end there.
Baking & Becoming is about creating room — for skill to grow, and for women to move from what they love into something that can carry them.
This is how we begin. Slowly, intentionally, and together.
The Lives We Have Touched
GALENTINES LOVE BAGS
For Valentine’s Day, we remembered victims of domestic abuse and the emotional toll that days like these present for them. We thought to remind them of an everlasting love that holds them closer than anything life may take from them.
STATIONERY DRIVE
We started our year with a successful stationery drive for children at a foster home. We see the value in education, and continue to do our part in ensuring that our communities have the tools they need for effective learning.
CHRISTMAS GIVING
We gathered essentials for a shelter for abused women, including toiletries and food. A quiet act of care offered during the festive season.
CARING FOR OUR ELDERS
In April, we extended care to elders who have been abandoned, providing food and toiletries. A small but meaningful way of showing they are not forgotten.
